I tried it exactly once. I had a paradoxical reaction: it was supposed to knock me out; but it wound me up. I stayed awake for four hours too wired to read; but too exhausted to get out of bed. It didn't touch the pain on the right side of my head and did cause a rebound headache on the left side. The only good was that I slept for about 16 hours straight the next day.
