Imitrex, O2 and cold air are the only certain abortive treatments I have found. Once a Bluebird flew overhead and my headache went away but I haven’t been able to replicate that one.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that some people have tried everything. Is it coincidence or a cure that gets rid of the headache? I don’t know anyone who has repeatedly had success with preventative medication. I have tried all of the medications mentioned on this site. One year it may work and the next it doesn’t.
Every year they come back sooner or later. I call it my Cranial Period.
