Whilst perusing and posting on the issue of triggers for CH's, I was reminded of a time years ago when I used to drink beer and play (or attempt to play) softball during a cycle. Halfway through the first can of beer, I was guaranteed to get a cluster headache, except when the beer was Corona. As an experiment, during the Summer of '87, I tried every brand of beer they sold at Kroger here in Memphis, each on a different night. They all triggered a near-instantaneous headache EXCEPT THE CORONA!! I drank Coronas to my heart's content the rest of the year and it never triggered a single ache. Never knew why, and didn't really care....
Oh well, I'm 8 years alcohol free now so my research isn't current. Just thought some of you who like a beer on occasion might give Corona a try if you haven't already....
