After already posting a message but then reading further I get the feeling that this is a close group of people. Everyone seems so caring. I cant believe how people respond so quickly to the messages. Anyway thought I would introduce myself to the group here....my name is Derek and I live in San Diego, Ca. I will be 29 in August and first remember cluster headaches at 15yrs. old got them roughly every year since, usually around this time. Havent been to Dr. for them in years but after reading here, I am calling towmorrow to begin the search for what will work for me. Just started cycle last week or so...first time to be awakend at night though..has happened last two nights in a row..they were the worst ever...and I now know from here that nighttime is very common...I guess I had just been lucky (kinda) until now. Sometimes I laugh when I read about someone else because I cant believe how similliar the symptoms etc. are, I guess thats why I feel better when I read messages here. Anyway better stop rambling....I love this site and will check back often.
