It goes without saying you'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
The last spinal tap I had really wasn't that bad. They just sit you on the side of the bed and tell you to hold on to the tray and everything is deadened so you really don't feel much. I didn't even have the "spinal" headache afterwards.
Maybe the tap will relieve the headache (it's happened!).
Now quit worrying about "what MIGHT happen". Here's a trick I use a lot. Think of the WORST thing that can happen and PLAN what you'll do if it does. Then put it out of your mind. If it does happen you already have a plan and WHEN it doesn't happen, you haven't spent a lot of time worrying about it. Plan for the MAYBE, then FORGET it. Try it - it does work.
