After my eye got messed up during surgery, I had a botox injection in my eye muscle to pull it over closer to where it was supposed to be. It lasts about 3-4 months. It was done in the docs office and took about 5 minutes.
But the one thing it did was paralyze my eye where he put it. (Don't know if it works the same way in the facial muscle or not). After about three months, it wore off and my eye is returning to normal, so I guess it helped.
Just make sure the doc who does it has experience. My eye doc sent me to Houston to a doc who does the procedure a lot.
Good luck. There's some stuff on the web somewhere on it. Can't remember where, but I did read it before I had it done.
