I just want to comment on what a great site this is... I just read some of the stories and have found, for the first time in my life, stories that match the pain and terror i went through for 10 years. My headaches sarted when i was 7 years old. My parents had no idea what was happeing to their son. It would start with the tightening of my neck muscles, the tearing in my left eye, and finally the full blown pain that only you understand. I would grab my neck and squeeze til i thought i would pass out. My mother would come, with the helpless look, saddened that she knew she could not help. I've been to Neurologists, Chiropracters, Pain Clinics, Acupunture Therapy, and Emergency Rooms. I've tried Lithium, Narcotics, Oxygen, Midrin and countless others. But, while a routine check up with my family doctor while i was 17 years old, he prescribed me Indocin. It worked. Finally, something to control my headaches. My quality of life has so much improved that i cant describe how great i feel. Ive graduated college and now work as a Flight Paramedic. This is something that i know could have not been possible without my medication. I truely wish that all of you sufferers could have the same relief. I know what you are going through and wish that such a horrible ailment could be overcome.
