My clusters liked to keep regular hours. After a course
of Sansert lasting only a couple of weeks, the pain reduced
considerably. A month later, more Sansert and after awhile
the pain went away.
The unusual observation that my wife made though, during this
painfree time, was that at my regular cluster times she could
see a white spot on my nose which would be an associated
symptom with the cluster. "Are you having a headache?" she would
ask..and if i did a little 'scan' it would appear that most
of the headache symptoms were there as a small percentage
of what they would be during a headbanger.
My 'shadows' now are little more than hayfever symptoms, on the cluster
side only. But my wife can still spot the ridging of my nose
from across the room, so there must be some swelling and drooping.
I use the shadows to help monitor any possible triggers or catalysts
that may bring on a cluster.
Last week while out for dinner, we were offered a seemingly harmless dessert. After
dinner i experienced a particularly strong shadow and discovered
that the dessert had a rum sauce on it..made with real rum. "The Shadow Knows" :-)
Painfree days a'head,
