Stop feeling guilty immediately! Everyone here understands CH and feels nothing but joy when a fellow clusterhead attains relief, whether temporary or permanent.
A change in sleep patterns has been identified by some as a probable trigger, so your observation of the reverse effect is interesting. Bear in mind that the demon is uniquely individual in his approach and a trigger for one may well be relief for another.
If you haven't yet seen it, scroll this board for the link to your countryman's recent research findings. Dr. Peter Goadsby has identified an abnormality in the hypothalmic region of the brain in CH'rs. The hypothamus is considered to be involved in the circadian rhythms, i.e. our body clocks.
