I was in the chat last nite, so here's my take on some of the comments made in this series of post.
First, those who attended the chat were all volunteers who responded to a post JenniK put up a few days ago. DJ is going to alter the chat room page to indicate that a Convention Chat will happen EVERY Wednesday at 9 pm Eastern.
Next, we all regretted Linda and Barb's inability to attend and Elaine's need to leave early.
Third, while many chefs spoil the broth, diverse input is good for discussion. No 'decisions' were made that affect all, as no-one has that authority. Remember, we are a pure democracy-there are no elected officials here.
Finally, although the meeting was somewhat unstructured (a particular problem for those of us who have elevated precise organization to entirely new levels), let's remember that we're just getting started. I agree fully with the need for adgendas, schedules, etc. How about someone starting the ball rolling and posting their thoughts on that stuff here?
