so sorry to hear out your latest bout. You didn't mention which form of Imigran (called Imitrex here in the New World) you use--injectible, nasal spray or pills.
I use the pills and find that it is absolutely critical that I take one JUST BEFORE the real pain starts. I usually get a 'warning sign' of an impending CH -- a tightness in my right temple. If I wait until the actual pain hits, the Imitrex does nothing and the CH runs its course, usually for 45 minutes to an hour. If I take the pill early enough, either the pain is avoided or it only lasts about 5-10 minutes and doesn't seem as strong.
