Las Vegas, Nevada: Today, a group of headache sufferers have achieved their goal: to bring national attention to the disorder they referred to as Cluster Headache.
This information is the result of an interview with the only surviving attendee of a conference held last night in the WakeUp Hotel and Casino, which erupted into what has been described as one of the most incredible scenes of warfare ever to occur among civilians. After a six hour siege by police, stunned onlookers watched as every non-attendee exited the Casino unharmed, every one describing an incredible confrontation inside between the Cluster Headache conferencees. One woman said it was as if there were no sides, no alliegances, no groups. No leaders, no followers. "They were shooting at each other ... like a cutthroat Laser Gun game but with real weapons. No hostages were taken - they were too busy shooting at each other to notice us leaving", she said.
When police finally charged the building, only one combatant was still alive, though severely wounded. She was removed to a local hospital, where she is listed in critical condition. She insisted upon a press interview to explain the carnage, but after proclaiming that Cluster Headaches were responsible for people killing themselves, she fell into a delerium of tears and had to be sedated.
Some flyers found in the Thomas Paine Room, where the conference was convened, said they'd come to WakeUp and would solve their common affliction here. Ironically, they accomplished the latter - but not the former. The flyer lists as one of their organization's objectives bringing Cluster Headache into a national spotlight. In this, it appears they've succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.
