I originally posted on this subject just to see if we could generate some input, but y'all keep saying you like what I said...except for a few points, and that it was wayyyyy too long for a 30 sec. spot.
Okay, I give. Here's version 1.2. I can read it out loud (in the privacy of my home office, of course lol) in about 30 secs, so I figure someone with more acting type experience could easily do it.
The (wo)man you are watching is suffering from what is called a Cluster Headache.
Headache? (skeptical voice)
Clusters make headaches look like fun.
Clusters are a debilitating illness that can destroy families, careers and even sanity.
They don’t discriminate. They can affect any age, sex or race.
They cost victims thousands of dollars each year in medical treatment and drugs---costs insurance often won’t cover.
The cause isn’t known.
There is no cure.
We’re the OUCH. (Text superimposed to read “Organization for Understanding of Cluster Headaches”)
A grassroots effort on the part of sufferers and their supporters to get the word out. And to ask for your support.
