Well well well. Here it is.......4:45am. Guess why I’m up at THIS hour?? Let me bring you up to
date. I’ve been relatively headache-free for nearly a week. I can smell remission like it’s a pot of
fresh-brewing coffee at the crack of dawn. For the past two weeks I’ve been consuming water
religiously. I’ve been doing it randomly instead of Margi’s “measured” method of I glass per half
hour, but I’ve still been drinking 4 to 5 litres per day. Well, on Thursday I simply forgot. We had
a death in the family, and my routine was broken by the events that took place. Plus, due to
decorum I wasn’t in a position to drag my trusty water bottle through funeral proceedings and
family gatherings. Hence, I went through an entire day and night drinking NO water. Guess
what? I was up at 3:30am “doin’ the dance.” Once I was awake enough to rationalize, I realized I
had broken Margi’s Cardinal Rule. I cursed myself and the headache I was having, and here I am
at nearly 5am.......absorbed in my glorious “afterglow”.......pissed off and disappointed. I was
convinced they were gone. Well, in preparation for tomorrow I filled several bottles of water to
take with me, and you can bet your a** this ain’t gonna happen again!!! I’ll drink until the water
begins shooting out my ears if that’s what it takes. As I was pacing furiously in my kitchen an
hour ago, I could visualize Margi’s response to this post: “Tsk tsk tsk”.....followed by “Water
Water Water!!!!!” And there you have it, folks.......the beginnings of the first CH rap song.
Well, that’s all. I wish I could say “goodnight”, but I have to be up in half an hour. I’m
somewhat compelled to scream the “F-word” loudly right now, but all I can do is
