I have an article from the Berkley Health letter that is specific to chronic pain and details treatment and side affects of chronic pain. It is comprehensive and when I asked my doc to write a letter, a very strong letter, he also included a copy of the article and I no longer have an issue with my insurance. At first they would only OK a refill for Imitrex every 34 days. Right! As if that's only as often has I needed it. Now I am able to refill at any time. Your doc must write a powerful letter defending his decisions as your physician.
