I saw a neuroligist here in Palm Springs for the first time a couple days ago. I explained to him that I had been followed by my primary care physician for the headaches for the last many years and he wondered why I had not been on prophylaxis once the cluster (or signs of the cluster) started. He said that he wanted me on Cafergot but had to check and see if there would be any significant drug interactions with what I am already on. In the meantime, he prescribed Sansert as a prophylaxis and Imitrex if an acute attack should start. Tough thing is...its too HOT to get to the drugstore. Anyone else affected by the heat? I have become totally nocturnal...trying only to venture out at night when it is 115 degrees or more. Just curious.
