Almost all of us who suffer from this condition have been referred by our GP's to a specialist neurologist to confirm the diagnosis. If you are suffering from this condition it is very important that you get that specialist advice, not only to rule out other things that might be causing your headaches but also to ensure that you get the correct treatment for them as soon as possible.
