It's a little late for this year. But whenever you owe that someone (guy or girl) a gift, I have the ultimate one at very little cost. The best gift my wife ever gave me is this:
She collected pictures from my childhood, high school, college, air force, our early marriage years clear up through my current state of decomposition, and put each in a picture album with writing underneath each one. Like, early on . . . look at this stud throw that football. and recently . . . look at that dud sleep in his chair . . . Those are not direct quotes, just an idea of what she did. I was totally amazed at the time and trouble she went through to put that together. It was the best gift she ever gave me . . . and it sure wasn't because I like looking at my homely self. It was just the trouble and thought she put into it . . . the personal touch.
