lost front tooth eventually from impact damage to root - and BC/BS wouldn't pay a cent because I hadn't reported the accident immediately (didn't realize damage until weeks later when abcess came up from the cracked root)
ended up costing about $1500 before I was done
LESSON:
no matter WHAT - get everything checked immediately, to get it "on the books" as directly related to CH, accidents, or whatever - that's a start on keeping the ins co's from weaseling out of coverage
but always something good from everything -
now I have one of those little "flipper" partial plates,
(for dress occasions only of course, this IS Maine after all, where the nicest compliment you can pay a young lady is "nice tooth")
with which I absoutely delight my very young nephews (and mortify my 18 & 22 yr old kids) by letting it pop out like Kukla, at absolutely inappropriate times
so -
don't worry about it at all. it's part of the deal BUT remember to stay groundbound while the CH is ragin'
