From 1976 to 1986, I had cluster attacks that were preceded by a day or so by a vertigo attack. But my attacks started in 1956 (episodic, thank God!) and were not preceded or followed by vertigo and the episodes that I’ve had since 1986 have not been proceeded or followed by vertigo.
By the way, I read somewhere that the feeling that the world is spinning around you comes from the fact that your eyes are literally spinning in your head. So, the last time that I had vertigo, back in ’86, I looked into a mirror to check this out. BIG mistake! You really just want to take the prescribed hit of Antivert and lie down with your eyes shut tight. You do NOT want to look into a mirror, that’s for sure.
