I have been getting my clusters for 17yrs, after I had my son they were twice as bad.I GOT ON Depro-Provera strickly for a method of birth control and didnt get a cluster for a year and a half.When they came back as they always did , my docter asked me what have I done different in this year and a half? the only thing I could think of was the shot of depro.So I immediate went to my obgyn and got another shot of it and within 2 and a half weeks the headaches were gone!.Usually my clusters would last 3 months and I get them twice a year.This time they only lasted 3 weeks.I am now thinking they might be hormonal,maybe a lack of progesterone that could be low twice a year with me.My obgyn told me that I am not the only one who uses depro for headaches, that she has had other women in getting it just for that reason.She also said she could put it down on the perscription as a medical reason not just for birth control, like many insurance comp. they wont cover it if it is not related to medical reasons.If you have any questions that you want to ask me about this feel free to e-mail me.Good luck to all!Jen
