I just had to vent, as others say. I am so tired of these headaches.
But most of all, I am tired of hearing people say, "oh, i get headaches too. What is the big deal take an asprin,etc and get over it."
These are not "headaches" like everyone seems to think. It is an intense headpain. I am just tired of hearing that, and the lack of sympathy that comes with comments like that.
I get the clusterheadaches every day, usually four to six times daily.
But I don't bang my head against the wall, it doesn't help. I usually lay down and "black out" when the pain is bad enough. It is not fun.
I am glad that DJ made this board. Thank you. I don't write much because I am not sure what to say, but I do read alot of the messages and it is very reassuring to know that there are so many other caring people out there.

Note: Email name comes from the fact that I almost never wear shoes. It is one of the few pleasures I have on a daily basis and there is also a medical reason that makes shoes very painful - unrelated to clusters.
