Did that, works to some extend.
What I do is when I feel a attack comming and can't use Imitrex because of fear for overdose I go into hiding, put my O2 mask on and concentrate on breathing. Then I try close my eyes and try to find a "spot" before my eyes and concentrate on that. Sometimes, not always, I then do not notice the pain, its there alright, just don't notice it.
Works untill the pain gets over a 6, no way after that untill now.
I'm going into remission now, building off verapamil. Planning to work this hypnotism thing out to be prepared for the next cycle.
