I agree with Margi but would add 1 more non med thing. Cold air. There was a flurry of posts a while back about cold air therapy and thenthey died out. Some would turn their home A/C down and stick their face in one of the cold air returns, others would go to their cars and do the same. My son stuck his head in the freezer for 15 minutes and got relief. His wife thought he'd gone over the edge.
The chronic side of the beast really sucks but there is hope. I was episodic for about 30 years, went chronic in my 40s for about 3 years and have been episodic since.
