You ( I dont think ) can change the back ground color of the message board. But you can change the back ground of the messanges when you open them. I'm use NT4.0 sp5..but Win 95/98 should be about the same. Click on start...Settings... Controle Panel...Display...Apperance...Windows Text...pick a background...OK. That should do it, at least in NT4
