Ritual Voodo thing, no, but I discovered that, when I'm concentrating myself at something (meditation? Don't know, not the right word) I forget the pain, atleast when the attacks begin, for a certain time.
When the pain is over 6 on Kip's scale, it does'nt work anymore and I have to use Imitrex.
What i do is go in hiding at the first sign, put the O2 mask on my face, turn of all lights, concentrate on breathing and try to find what I call a spot before my eyes. I'm totally relaxed then. Only works when I'm not disturbed by noise etc.
Maybe worth a try, but no garantees!
