Carl, i beg to differ with you ...
your strength resonates from your post. every time i'm hit at work, every time i'm hit at home, i think of you and your story. you denegrate yourself, paco ... you are not only strong enough to fight thru what you've been thru, but the volume of your strength is enough to share with others like me. you need to see that.
i'm worried about the water thing - seeing Linda's and Shellie's posts up there. my own experience is that of Mike and LindaB - but it has to be a veritable flood of water to work (i'm not suggesting Linda or Shellie were not drinking enough - actually, i think they were - and that's made me cautious ... but it did work for me). i used to drink 4 gallons of milk a week. ppl at the grocery store thot i had a family. now, i drink half that volume of water in a day. i've mounted my monitor at work over the urinal, and my nameplate has replaced "mens room". so if you're going to give the water a real try, you've got to be pretty nutz about it. Mike is right ... last thing i do on my way to the head is down 8 gulps.
be careful - it appears some may experience worse HAs, and this much water will flush your body salts and can cause dizziness or other body reactions (i would tell you to have your doc monitor you, but it sounds like he may be standing where some fresh air should be!). if it does for you what it's done for me, it's right in your price range.
keep on, dude - now you are many.
