This is a great discription of the pain. But my favorite part is about how you look to other people who always think you are crazy because it is "just a headache".
I have stopped refering to them as headaches, instead I call them a severe incapaciating pain. Then I describe the pain sometimes if they ask. It seems to work better then saying it is a headache.
What really upsets me is when other people say, "Oh I get migraine, they are not that bad" or "I get headaches too from stress, I take a couple of tylenol or asprin and it goes away."
That is why I don't refer to it as a headache anymore. It is not a headache, it is a severe incapacating pain. But definately not a headache!
I am very glad that this list is here. It is very comforting to know that there are people out there in the world who do understand and that I can talk to.
By the way, I am a chronic cluster sufferer.
