I've been a sufferer for over 30 years, clusters arriving every 10 to 14 months, lasting 6 to 8 weeks and then, eight years ago they went into remission. A couple of weeks ago I was reintroduced to the beast in the wee hours.
I found this site and like you, was overwhelmed with the warmth and comfort that it gave me to find others who knew what I was going through, and who abviously really cared about others. I tend to stay on the sidelines but I read the posts many times a day.
One thing I found out (sadly to say after 30 years of big time hurting) was water therapy. At first I thought is was a long shot; sorta like I felt when a doctor told me to give oxygen a try in the 70's (which worked sometimes for me). I tried water, lots of water, and I can't believe the results. I've been able to avoid a full blown bout for 5 days now. Take a look at the other posts re:water.
Be strong and keep the faith.
PS; I've been wondering is the trip to the UK a few weeks ago had anything to do with my reintroduction to the beast. I've read some interisting recent articles about the role of our body clocks and clusters.
