I just checked my insurance papers. The $9 is just my portion of the cost. My insurance is charged $109.68 for two shots, I pay $17.05 of that, they pay the rest . . . Blue Shield/Blue Cross. I have tried cafergot, but not DHE. The caffeine works well to start with for me, but I keep needing larger doses, until no amount of caffeine will stop it. Excedrin/coffee works just as well as the cafergot for me, but they rebound on me too.
