Sorry to hear about that! Did you loose your job because of CH, directly or with some lame excuse? IF so, I remember posts some days ago where the same problem was discussed and found the following:
"A combination of the Family Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act makes it highly illegal for an employer to treat you in any negative manner because of your condition. They MUST give you accommodation for illness, and if it is chronic (which some CH sufferers are) then they have to give you the space at the office for headache times (a dark room with a cot maybe, or a shower). The only thing they don't have to do is pay you for time off. They can often be forced to let you make the time up, though."
I don't know the US laws but can imagine that the above is correct. Think the post came from Dave W. Maybe it helps.
Another thing, I don'tknow what line of work you are in but can't you start your own thing? I did some years ago, never regretted it for a moment. I nearly lost a good job some years ago because of clusters and decided there and then that, given the chance, I would never work for somebody else then ME.
I can make my own hours (to many) and can get all the clusterattacks I want during officehours. What a luxery :)
