0 - normal person. regular life. standard fears.
0.5 - CHead out of pain. but afraid to go out, talk on phone, sleep, sip wine, relax, be normal. acutely aware that normal is temporary.
fear preludes pain ... pain precipitates fear.
i'm jazzed we're trying to put words to the numbers.
