To all our CH family and supporters,
OUCH (Organization for Understand Cluster Headaches, if you just joined us)is becoming a reality thanks to a lot of hard work and brainstorming of a lot of people. Bobby G., Drummer, Elaine, Linda B., Margie, Nancy, Mary, Rob, lc bob and many many others who have offered input and suggestions.
BUT, (this is Mother talking now) we need to realize that we're all working between cluster attacks, so sometimes we say things that "offend" others. We need to decide right now - nothing is to be taken personal. No one purposely intends to upset anyone else, but we all have different personalities and from time to time we're going to squabble some. So we need to agree to disagree without any name calling. That's known as TEAMWORK.
The response to the call for volunteers has been tremendous, but one thing I'm seeing that bothers me is the YOU word. "You guys are doing a great job." "You people really are working hard." etc. This word needs to be changed to WE and US. I can't do anything and YOU can't do anything, but WE can do a lot to benefit US. This organization is not MINE or YOURS, it's is OURS.
If there are any attorney's on this board - we could use some legal counsel (we need to sew up loop holes before they grow). In fact, we need everyone right now. Doctors, Lawyers, writers, computer experts, counselors, design specialitsts, desktop publishing, marketing, fundraisers, media and on and on and on. We need leaders as well as workers. Within the next two months there will be enough work to keep us all busy. But if everyone does a little then we'll get it done.
Sorry this was so long-winded, but now that the air is cleared, let's get busy and get OUCH going.
Hugs BD
