Here, here, Elaine. I had a similar experience yesterday
with my internist. I've been feeling very ill.
He told me I needed a change of scenary and to see
a therapist. I felt extremely insulted. I may be
ill, but I didn't become suddenly stupid. I know
the difference between depression and illness.
Anyhow, I called my neurologist and he feels I may
be having a reaction to the Verapamil, so he's
pulling me off it. That is pretty scary, but at
least he's not treating me like a moron.
