I had a sleep study done several months ago. I also snore and have restless leg syndrom. The sleep study showed I have leg movement every 10 minutes, and never go into a deep sleep, but I was not diagnosed as sleep apnea. It also showed some (what the doctor said)strange brain waves that could not be identified with anything known.
I take Klonopin and a Xanex each night, and unless I'm woken up by a CH, I sleep well. I just recently went 9 days without a CH, and was hoping, or maybe dreaming that this episode was over. But, then 3 nights in a row, I was awakened by them, and Friday, also had one during the day (of all places, in the cancer hospital where my husband was)I just took 2 pillows and thrashed around on the floor, till it subsided. Again, I have not had one since Friday afternoon. But, I always feel the twinges as I call them. I now have learned to take my O2 tank along with me wherever I go.
Blessings, Arlene
