Hi, Yes, I am applying for SS benefits. I was turned down the first time (70% of everyone is..per my atty). I am in the appeal process now. There are lots of hoops to jump through but I am chronic and haven't worked for 18mos. My atty, who specializes in SS says that I'll win... just takes a bit. They look at physical disabilities easier---what do we have??? So, I will definitely keep at it; even SS recommends you utilize an atty for the process. My doc says I'll get benefits too.
