No Yazz, I didn't say just what I wanted to say just right. For the sleep apnea they use a machine called a Cpap machine. It's not O2 tanks! It's a small machine, pretty quite, with a mask that covers the nose and mouth that gives O2 during the persons sleep. It seems to help people with sleep apnea and also helped his clusters!
Maybe that is an idea for when clusters start, get a doctor to let us use a Cpap machine! He had to go tho to a sleep center and have a sleep test which showed he really hardly got any real good sleep during the nite.
But it sure is a good idea that maybe our sleeping has something to do with clusters. It helped him like I said and he hasen't had a cluster in 4 yrs. The doctor had said that he thought he could help with his clusters. You have to wear it everynight for the rest of your life but that sure is better than having clusters or the side effects of all the med we are on!!! Insurance helped pay for it. It's just a small thing so you can take it with you if you travel.
BTW DJ, this doctor is in Wichita.
