Nathan,
i'm curious to know what type of research went into the book. was it field patient testing, medical opinions, or sufferer/doctor surveys or some other data sampling?
the reason i ask is that i see on the preview page that smoking is still listed as one of the TOP 3 "triggers" - but here we have consistently found experience to the contrary (vis a vis - people with CH who have never smoked, CHeads who find smoking to be comforting - even ameliorative - during and after CH, people who quit and still continue to suffer, etc.). to list smoking as a trigger on par with alcohol (again, experience here bears out the alcohol trigger) seems presumptive and not based on solid research.
it's important not to reinforce CH mythology. valid scientific method will do so.
i still want to and probably will read the book - but i'm curious to know the science that went into it's creation.
thanks,
