Wanted to say welcome. If you want to swap war stories, CH or Nam (Brown Water Navy, River Division 535, Binh Thuy, '69-'70). Also fought the clusterhead war for 30 years now. So I guess I can call myself a veteran of either.
PS: to Jim Ambrose. Welcome to you also. My second tour was spent doing picket duty on a MSO (Ocean Going Minesweeper). I'll never forget the sight of our skipper trying to re-up in an unusual way. He was being towed around Camron Bay on a mine sweeping float and thought it was real neat until the fin of that tiger shark showed up behind him. The crew sure enjoyed it.
