When I had my first cycle, I was nineteen and it consisted of one attack a night and it ended after the second attack. Tomorrow, I’ll be 62 and I’ve been in my current cycle since February. So, my cycles have gotten longer over time, but other people’s have gotten shorter. Like everything else about this disease, the only thing that we have in common is the pain. However, this time, I’ve also discovered Verapamil and it’s made a major difference for me, too. I started taking 240’s twice a day in April and, since then, only on two occasions has The Demon been able to break through and kick serious ass. I get attacked three to five times a day, but they just fade away in half an hour or less without getting any worse than a hangover. In fact, they don’t even get as bad as that, most times. Let’s hope that Verapamil keeps on working for both of us.
