Guess what y'all???? This Neuro in small town Alabama actually knew about clusters!!!! I had all my information from this site printed out and highlighted. i was ready for him!!!! Rather than going in there ready to hand it to him, though, i sat back, told him my symptoms, and waited for his diagnosis. to my utter amazement he asked, "Have you ever heard of cluster headaches?" I almost started to cry!!!! My husband was there, too. Ha!!!! Guess we showed him!! He was totally apologetic and willing to help me in any way he can now....I think he just wanted to believe that they were psychosomatic because i never have anything wrong with me physically.
The doc prescribed Imotrex....pills and shots. He was reluctant to give me o2 because both my husband and i smoke. Hopefully this will work. Haven't heard from the Demon today.....YET. Perhaps that is because he was up all night last night stabbing the side of my head with the icepick!!!!
