I experience a reaction as much as 12 hours after eating foods containing MSG. This alone made it nearly impossible for me to diagnose the cause. My symptoms are what my doctor calls "classic migraine" in which I experience a partial blockage of vision. Since I have tried to eliminate or at least greatly reduce my intake of MSG my migraine problem has disappeared. I plead with those responsible for the truthful acknowledgement of what MSG really is and ask in all sincerity that this substance be eliminated from the market.
It is no small issue to experience partial blindness when you are a commercial pilot!
How many innocent people are being put at risk when the pilot is "flying blind"?
