Hi Steve
If the level of nasel pain has increased in comparrison to what you are used
to in the past I have an idea. I would only say this if you are experiencing
somthing that is inconsistant with what would be your NORM.
Check for a sinus infection. They can hurt as wel. We all know not as bad as a true
cluster but when you get them together it sucks even more.
My idea is based on this.
My little 9 year old boy has been getting headaches for the last month. Some very
similar fetures as my Clusters. His pain level was not such that he would cry like his
dad when he gets a headache. I took him in to the medicentre and they did some x-rays
and I got the call late yesterday to bring him back in. Well little man you have a sinus
infection. You can beleive how releived I was to find he does not suffer the clusters.
A few antibiodics and a week he will be fine.
When I get a sinus infection the thing I notice is the extra pain is more centralized on the
bridge of the nose and also into the main pain area of the cluster.
I hope this helps and I hope you dont end up with both. One is more than enough.
Regards
