Don,
I've been a cafergot user for about 25 years. Pills, inhaler, sub-lingual. Last cluster was pills. Sometimes up to 25/week. I've never had problems going to sleep after taking caf. I think the HA, even if it's a quick one, takes so much out of me that I'm completely wasted by the time it's gone. Caf or not, I'm ready to sleep. I tend to keep my stomach empty so it will act faster when taken. This does cause some nausea. Especially if it turns out to be a 10. After a couple of hours of pain and caf. I'm on the bathroom floor too. Rolling around, struggling to my knees to heave and then back to the floor. The tiles are cool and feel good. I've gone through this bathroom routine before, had the HA start to go away. Crawl from the bathroom back to the bed. Lay on top of the bed only to be jolted 20 minutes later with the damn thing comming back. Another 1-1/2 hrs. in the bathroom and I'm ready for someone to shoot me. I know your struggle. If anyone says were not allowed to feel sorry for ourselves, or not allowed to cry for ourselves, they don't know CH.

All in all the Cafergot has worked well for me. Usually knocks the HA out in 15-20 minutes. Lots of times with just one tablet. Hope they give you some relief.

Hang in there. Cry when you feel like it, we have that right!!

Take care,
Bob Pahlow
