My husband has had dc/h for 24 yrs., they have been
chronic for 6 yrs. Despite all the hype about
aborting headaches with all kinds of treatments,
he still has to resort to narcotics. It's the only
thing that keeps him sane, and believe me he has tried
everything. He is one of only 2 or so patients
that his doctor will prescribe narcotics for. If
you are really completely desperate, there is
surgery. There is a Dr. Ninan T. Mathew in Houston
who refers patients to a surgeon. I really don't
recommend the surgery, but if you are that desperate
it might be worth looking into. Do you have anyone
who gives you support? That is so important.
