Steve,
MRI is a cake walk. They put you in a tube and bombard you with varying magnetic frequencies for about 20 minutes. If you are claustrophobic (sp) they give you a trnnquilizer and there are now open MRI systems. I had an MRI in '91 and was totally CH free for a year and a half! I posted this to see if anyone else had expperianced the same effect and no one else had but I'm still convinced the MRI had something to do with the long remission. It was the longest I've ever gone without CH. The hardest part is an itch, you have to be perfectly still through the whole process. And, MRI seems to be the bottom line in ruling out any other cause for HA. Go for it, hope you have the same results I did. Keep us posted.
Good luck, remission for all.
