Lindy - I have tried the Imitrex tabs and they didn't touch my headache. For the first time this week I was able to try the injections and it worked like a charm! Pain free in a mere 5-10 mins! I take prednisone and verapamil as prophylactics and so far it seems to be working. Different meds for different people, but find a doc who will listen and let you try some different things. It took me about 4 cycles to get on the mix that works for me and just found that the injections work after dealing with these buggers for 15 years. Good luck in your search and keep us posted.
