NO! NO! NO! Carl, please, don't let your mind go there! There are successful, healthy solutions out there. I was chronic 3 years before being diagnosed correctly. Don't even remember all the meds I've been on but 1 neuro actually got it and I'm down to about 20 or so a month - most of them fairly manageable with O2. It can & will happen for you.
I have been wrong in not letting you know how much your writing has meant to me and touches me. You express my agony & loneliness so perfectly. I went to the neuro Monday & had printed some of the poems & lyrics from this site for him. He never has any headache and is trying so hard to learn. When he saw the printouts his eyes lit up & he said, "Oh, do you have something for ME!" The poetry helps him understand his patients point of view & inspires him to become a better neuro. Don't leave us. Please don't quit. We care so much and we need each other.
