I agree one cannot give other people meds just because they worked for you. But if they do work for them, and if they were prescribed for them and they just can't afford them, it is a wholly different story.
I never knew it was illegal to give away your meds. Is this nationwide in the USA? Is it state law?
When I had meds going begging (they were the wrong sort, or too much...)I took them back to the pharmacy like a good girl, for that's what we are told to do.
The Pharmacy is supposed to destroy them. But meds taken back are NOT registered. So what really happens to them I can't know.
Now I take them back to my doctor who gives them to people who are underinsured. Makes me feel better.
If I lived around any clusterheads I would gladly share my meds if I could get them and they could not.
