Carl - sounds like you've got it pretty bad at this point. For that I am really sorry. When I read your message it made me think of how frustrated I get with the hubby when he gets to that desolate place you are at now. You are looking at too much of the picture. If that makes any sense. When you try to comprehend all of the bad in your life at once it is overwhelming and incomprehensible. If I may be so bold as to suggest put all (and I mean ALL) of your problems aside, don't forget them but allow yourself to concentrate on just one of them for now, and make it the one that may be within your grasp to help. If you need medical treatment for your headaches, and I mean just to make them a bit less relentless then call the Dr. back tell the nurse/secretary that if they can't get you in until July then you must at the very least speak to the Dr. and when that Dr. calls (and he will) you tell him exactly what you are going through (headachewise) and I believe if he is any kind of decent Dr. he will see you sooner. If your options are limited due to finances, insurance ect…. Then get down to Social Services and get on Medicaid and you will get treatment. I guess what I'm trying to say is forget your friends feelings (or feelings about you) and forget that your living situation is less than ideal at the moment, these things are out of your control at the moment. Focus on ONE thing and go forward. Don't overwhelm yourself, you have more to deal with as it is because of the headaches and you need to allow yourself space to put things back together slowly don't lose focus because you are trying to focus on too much. Sorry if I've stuck my nose in where I may not belong, I do not suffer Cluster Headaches, just live with a chronic sufferer, but when I read your message I felt compelled to voice my opinion.
PS. If you need someone to help, I've been told that I can be very persuasive getting what I want from a doctor's office. Give me the name and phone number and I'll call them immediately and get you in next week.
